MASTERCLASSES

 

Maidstone Wind Symphony's Come and Play Series is a programme of workshops, discussions and masterclasses delivered by our renowned guest soloists.

 

The workshops are open to instrumentalists of all ages and abilities, from children just starting out on their musical adventures to experienced adult players of all abilities eager to learn and be inspired by world class soloists.

MWS is proud to be working with a stellar line up of soloists who will be delivering workshops as part of the Festival of Wind and Brass programme.

 

The tutors will guide you through inspirational sessions that will include ensemble playing; instruction on warm-up and practice; advice on how to improve musicality and performance; and potential opportunities to work through a piece of your choosing, in particular in the Andy Findon session.

 

Each workshop costs just £10, which includes a free ticket for the gala Festival Concert at 7pm.

 

Entrance is on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified via email whether you have been successful and full joining details will be supplied.
