Maidstone Wind Symphony is an award-winning Kent wind orchestra featuring some of the region's most talented amateur musicians. 

Our aim is to give non-professional woodwind, brass and percussion players an opportunity to meet other, like-minded musicians and perform music to a high standard.

MWS plays a mix of contemporary wind band music and well-known pieces. Our programmes feature everything from Ticheli to The Planets!

Interested in joining us? 

We rehearse every Tuesday evening during term time (7:30-9:30pm) at Invicta Grammar School, Maidstone.

Our doors are open to players of grade 7-8+ standard. There's no audition process, just come along to an open rehearsal!
